Directs and participates in the work of maintenance staff, orders parts and supplies, and supports resource protection, public safety, and visitor services, often in extreme heat and humidity in the cave and wide outdoor temperature swings. |

Prepares, reviews, or assists with detailed investigative and inspection reports, Statements of Deficiency, Plans of Correction, compliance correspondence, and other regulatory or legal documents related to licensure actions, enforcement activities, and changes to a licensee's status. The Compliance Officer I position is part of the Department's Compliance Officer career series, which provides opportunities for career progression and advancement based on the attainment of additional education, experience, and the successful assumption of increased duties and responsibilities. |
