The Corporations Division approves corporate names and grants corporate or limited liability company status to entities organizing under the laws of the State of Arizona; grants authority to foreign corporations and limited liability companies to transact business in the State; collects annual reports from all corporations of record; and maintains records for the benefit of public record and service of process.
You will rotate staffing a walk-up customer service window as cashier for customers filing corporation and limited liability company documents at the Division. This involves the ability to handle and count cash and other forms of payment, data entry of payment and document information, and understanding and advising customers on statutory filing requirements as interpreted by the Division. When not providing face-to-face interaction with the public, you will respond to customer email inquiries.
-Mastery of effective customer service techniques
-Cash handling experience; basic bookkeeping and math skills
-Excellent listening, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
-Research and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact positively with customers via the telephone, correspondence or in person, including facilitating the resolution of customer complaints
-Ability to learn and comprehend filing requirements according to Titles 10 & 29 (limited liability companies) Arizona Revised Statutes
-Proficient PC skills
-Good attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to examine all documents submitted to the ACC for compliance with Titles 10 & 29 and ACC policies and procedures
-Ability to work effectively in various situations in a fast-paced environment.
