| The HVAC/EMS Mechanic to be responsible for responding to and resolving all Energy Management and HVAC issues and concerns for all 162d Morris Air National Guard managed spaces located in Tucson AZ and work under the general direction of the Physical Plant Supervisor with minimal supervision in performing Journeyman Level work in the Operation, Maintenance & Repair of Large Modern HVAC, Refrigeration, Heating Systems and Equipment. Incumbent assures all work is in compliance with state and federal codes; performs all assigned tasks within the established guidelines and instructions, adheres to established safety rules/procedures, ensures work is compliant with all applicable safety codes. Incumbent will be required to take immediate action in emergency situations and is responsible for timely reporting on corrective action. The incumbent will be required to provide callback response to the facilities after-hours/emergency help desk and oversees repair work, as necessary. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics. |
