POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the coordination of evidence-based projects, trainings, and other functions sponsored and conducted by the Juvenile Justice Services Division. This position will also assist and/or lead with special projects and initiatives, facilitate new program developments, and will act as a liaison between the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), counties, and other juvenile justice stakeholders.
Additionally, this position will develop content for presentations, represent the Division in various interagency meetings and committees, serve as AOC liaison between AOC, Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC), counties, and other stakeholders. This position will also collaborate with the Education Services Division on the development and provision of statewide, regional and local probation and detention officer training programs; work closely with juvenile judges, probation and detention staff; staffs committees and special projects as assigned.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelor’s in a human services field or administration and at least five years’ experience working in the juvenile justice system, behavioral health care delivery system, or other child welfare-related agency. This position also requires the ability to train and coordinate work with outside agencies, effectively collaborate with designated JJSD Units, maintain an effective flow of communication to ensure success of projects, and interact effectively and professionally with AOC staff, and stakeholders. As well as work independently with minimal supervision, work effectively under deadlines and in pressure situations, and handle and prioritize multiple tasks and inquiries effectively.
The preferred candidate will have thorough knowledge of Arizona’s juvenile justice system, policies and procedures, and key stakeholders. Experience in curriculum development and working with Arizona statewide initiatives and projects.
Travel level: up to 15%
