Under the direction of the HR Director, this position will support the human resources staff with various human resources related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepare various correspondence and documents such as offer letters, changes in assignment letters, onboarding documents, salary request forms, personnel action forms, request to fill, etc.
• Log and track human resources processes such as recruitments, FMLA requests, classification action requests, etc., follow up as required.
• Monitor and audit staff required training in TraCorp. Monitor and audit agency staff identified as drivers (ASEDRA). Maintain DFFM personnel and I-9 files to include periodic auditing. Perform file reviews as requested by other agencies.
• Perform administrative duties including email, scanning, copying, filing and performing research as required. Prepare and send monthly HR Updates via email to agency staff.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:
• State personnel rules, policies and procedures.
• General principles of office practices.
• Terminology, principles and procedures of data processing systems and e-filing procedures.
• Confidential file maintenance.
• Various computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, etc.
• Research methodologies.

• Using a computer to input data, access information, and/or create materials and documents using a variety of software applications.

Experience working in a professional human resources department.
