DES is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst - IT. This position will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated testing solutions for our full-stack applications. This role will focus on building robust regression test frameworks, performance/load/stress testing, ADA testing, regression testing and seamlessly integrating automated testing into our Cl/CD pipelines. Work closely with developers, product managers, architects and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure effective testing.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes to improve efficiency and quality in software development and testing, including identifying automation opportunities, developing scripts, and troubleshooting issues.
• Create test plans, data, procedures, and automated test scripts.
• Participate as an observer in the formal review of business requirements.
• Report test results.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge of:
• Quality assurance and testing tools and processes
• Software development processes including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing
• AZURE DEVOPS, Automated Testing, Agile, Scrum methodologies
• Microsoft Visual Studio, Performance / load / stress, ADA and regression testing
• SDLC, Google Workspace, Salesforce Platform, REST APls
Skills In:
• Customer service, Quality assurance, Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication
• Expert in Selenium and JMeter
• Javascript, Python, C#, Cl/CD pipelines using AZURE DEVOPS
• APls testing tools such as Postman
Ability to:
• Balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks
• Mentor other team members
• Solve complex problems, Pick up new technologies
• Work effectively with a broad range of technical and business resources
• Work independently with minimal supervision
This ideal candidate for this position will have:
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 to 5 years experience in quality assurance testing and analysis (or equivalent experience)

• This position may require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
• Employee shall obtain and maintain a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 41-1969.
• Any combination of training and experience that meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to: relevant degree from an accredited college or university, coursework and work experience relevant to the assignment
• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
