Job Summary:

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Criminal Division is seeking a Business Analyst. This position primarily provides system analysis, technical assistance and support related to the Criminal Division's Case Management System (PROSECUTORbyKarpel - PbK) a business applications solution and database.

This position will maintain and assist with design and development of the division's PbK software to support data analysis, record keeping, document development and management, and may provide recommendation and support on future data management, individual, and trial technologies. Specifically, the position will provide support for issues relating to PbK including coding and updates for templates, reports, statutes, user profiles, other system updates and maintenance, responding to queries, assist in content development, diagnose problems and recommend and implement solutions. Also, responsible for maintaining current knowledge on PbK development and issues and will act as a point of contact with the company for user issues. Writing/maintaining technical and user manuals/system documentation/reports as well as training materials and will be responsible for training new personnel.

This position will also perform administrative support with the Criminal Division's specific information systems.

This position may be eligible for Remote Work up to two days a week based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Performs Criminal Division PbK database maintenance functions: programing reports, updating templates and users, adding/coding new templates, staying current on database updates and ensuring compliance, setting up new PbK users and/or maintaining user profiles; providing ongoing training and updates to users; maintaining AGO-specific PbK handbook. Will serve as the PbK software specialist to both internal employees and external vendors.

PbK customer support: responds to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner; assists end-users with software; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service.

Developing and executing PbK training plans, training materials and facilitate classes. Interface with IT at courts to facilitate computer use during trials. Assist Division personnel by developing presentation materials and training new users.

Responsible for Division's intranet (SharePoint) webpage creation & modification.

Selective Preference(s):

Preferred Associate’s degree plus 1 – 3 years of experience in database/software administration (or equivalent experience).
