Job Summary:

This position will perform administrative work at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport to include greeting customers, assisting the public and working directly with vendors. This position will direct calls, answer questions, manage housing leases, maintain supplies and process supply orders. Sort and organize mail, create spreadsheets, arrange travel for the airport personnel, track and prepare inspections. This position will provide organizational tasks such as filing, records and reports. Will perform GCN Connect system administration, certificates of insurance and permits. Will assist with human resource duties related to personnel and hiring needs. This position will perform security badging for both internal and external customers.

Job Duties:

Administration which includes invoicing, credit card transactions, percent rent for tenants and buses. Provides troubleshooting of the GCN Connect system with the vendor. Main point of contact for the customers using the GCN Connect system.

Process purchase orders and invoices which include orders for equipment, services and supplies for the Grand Canyon National Park Airport. Works with Risk Management for Certificates of Insurance and manages and maintains employee housing leases.

Provides administrative duties to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport to include, greeting and assisting customers and vendors. Creating and maintain files and reports. Answers phones and is the point of contact for mail services. Acts as Records Coordinator to review, follows record retention schedules, and Certificates of Destruction.

Provides Human Resource support to include I-9 verification, Hiring managers records. Communicates with payroll and general ledger for employees stipend pay, APS stipends and rent deductions. Handles CDL certification process.

Maintains spreadsheets to track water meter usage for commercial tenants, residential tenants and other airport meters. Compile data for airport annual water use report. Obtains the monthly water meter reads and bills the tenants and airport staff appropriately.

Manages security badging process for internal and external customers this includes all paper work and billing. Maintaining the security access levels in the Security badging system.

Schedules all building services to include, trash, pest control, elevator, emergency alert system, fire extinguishers, printing, fire alarm services and annual maintenance.

Provides backup support for the Administrative Service Officer 3 / GCNPA Business Manager.

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and  the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
