The Department of Economic Security, Division of Technology Services (DTS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our information technology (IT) team as a Senior Systems Administrator. This position is part of a team of highly skilled technology-driven individuals. The primary responsibility of the Senior Systems Administrator will be installing and configuring multiple software applications such as SmartComm, Informatica, lnRule, Checkmarx, Web Inspect, and SonarQube on Windows and Linux. Other tasks will include access control, user management, security, and troubleshooting issues. This position is also responsible for performing On-Call after-hours support when needed.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install, monitor, and direct proactive and reactive computer network defense measures to ensure the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability of systems.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot SmartComm, Informatica, Web Inspect, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and lnRule.
- Conduct daily traffic analysis, identify and characterize incidents, generate incident reports, and investigate suspicious network activity.
- Proactively solve complex problems.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Other duties as assigned, as related to the position.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Master's Degree or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 or more years of experience in systems administration.
- Proficiency with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Extensive experience with complex traffic analysis, identifying and characterizing incidents, generating incident reports, and investigating suspicious network activity.
