Service as the lead technician and Adopt-A- Highway office manager under the general supervision of the Program Administrator. Responsible for customer service and other staff functions involving Sponsor and Volunteer Adopt a Highway Programs. Prepares correspondence, memos and reports for permit staff. Assists phone customers and direct callers with inquiries about the Adopt a Highway program. Communicates and schedules litter and debris pick-up in regards to Adopt a Highway. Utilizes a state vehicle to inspect quality of work. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Responsible for all administrative duties delegated by by the Program Manager, including responding to inquiries from co-workers, contractors, the public and other stakeholders. May drive a State Vehicle in the course and scope of State business.
Payroll input; finance, purchasing and monthly bill paying: human resource processes/personnel actions; training coordination; facility and fleet responsibilities; and correspondence, communications, research and scheduling. Ensure that all applicable policies, procedures, rules, and statutes are adhered to.
Review and/or prepare contract documents related to force account. change orders. supplemental agreement, subcontracts, and financial documentation for current and completed projects. Produce and distribute a variety of letters, memos, and miscellaneous correspondence for Adopt A Highways. of Adopt-A- Highway for Permits Supervisor.
A Valid Arizona Drivers License - This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11)..
