Under the direction of the the Agency's Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager, this position will perform intermediate level human resources work in Operations. This position will provide HR data knowledge in processing personnel actions, audit HR data by extracting data to analyze and validate. Will assist with completing data entry for all agency personnel action forms (PAF) into the HR system. Will prepare and provide ad-hoc HR data reports to HR management when requested. Will analyze and audit past actions entered to ensure accuracy and appropriate application of personnel rules as applicable and make corrections as needed. The position will be responsible for monitoring and responding to emails in the Human Resources main email box. Answering the Human Resources main phone line. Maintaining and creating employee's electronic personnel files.
This position will be a back up to the benefits liaison position. Present the ADOA Benefit Options and Agency Programs through new hire orientation. The HR Operations Analyst Intermediate also reviews HR processes and work flow and recommends process improvement steps to the HR Operations Manager and assists with special projects as assigned.
Provides resources and answer questions to employees or refer employees to the appropriate HR staff through the HR mailbox and the HR main phone line. Will process employment verifications, file reviews and records requests. Maintaining and creating employee's electronic personnel files.
Will assist with completing data entry for all agency personnel action forms (PAF) into the HR system; audits and corrects personnel actions, participates in process improvement initiatives, and applies concepts to the function. Assist with processing I-9 documents for new hires. Serves as the back up to the HR Operations Specialist Intermediate.
Interprets policies and procedures; solves complex problems and recommends solutions for best practices; researches and responds to complex inquiries from employees and management regarding personnel records and processing issues. Conducts HR action audits and prepares various reports.
Attending all ADOA trainings in relation to Operational needs to remain up to date with new and changing information as it relates to agency employees.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
Knowledge of:

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related field experience OR 4 years related field experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
