Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical), maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation and safety, and ensuring compliance with ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, ionizing and non ionizing facilities to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. Life Safety Code Health Care Compliance Officer PHOENIX
Responsible for accurate completion of inspections and complaint investigations, scheduling and prioritizing work assignments, document and form preparation, all within the established time frames. Conducting in-depth complaint inspections and compliance evaluations of considerable difficulty to ensure compliance with established state statutes, rules and CMS regulations for up to 5 types of health care facilities, including state and federally funded programs, programs serving developmentally disabled. Assure that consumers, clients, residents and/or patients of all ages and diversified backgrounds receive the necessary care regarding their safety and well-being.
