The position manages PCLAN Supervisors, Tier 1 and 2 of the Service Desk and Identity Access Management within the Information Technology Group. Supports and provides oversight for the Tentative Improvement projects for the Central, North and South regions. Will define immediate and long term goals as well as setting priorities for the these Supervisors.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Provides leadership to supervisors and/or professional staff while providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues and customers. Defines immediate and long term goals, priorities, and operational plans to ensure team goals are aligned with the goals and priorities of the organization.
Will champion a cohesive and consistent approach to improvement in the organization by traveling to regional sites. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Ensures operational procedures and necessary skills and certifications are in place to meet the goals of the sections.

* All facets of management and leadership, as well as a vision for the specific business program/function being managed.
* Most infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications utilized in the enterprise

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of related experience in related discipline (or equivalent experience)

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
