We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist Intern to join the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources by supporting real-world employee relations and operations initiatives alongside experienced professionals. The intern will assist the employee relations and operations teams with day-to-day tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain exposure to a variety of HR functions. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to ADHS’s mission while developing practical skills and building a strong professional network.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Interest in state-level public health policy and practice
