The Department of Economic Security, Division of Technology Services (DTS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as PC Technician (Mobile Device Specialist). The Mobile Device Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring overall compliance with mobile device process and policies. This role processes intake, updates and maintains inventory databases, spreadsheets and other record tracking systems ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role provides support to customers, addresses their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and helps to drive continuous improvement in our processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the department's needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Update inventory databases, Intake spreadsheet and other record tracking systems ensuring accuracy and compliance. Reconciling in-stock phones, suspended, pay, disconnects, and manages the buyback tracking, reporting. Processes receipts and certificates of data destruction. Processes and completes assigned ServiceNow tickets within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) time frames.
• Mobile Device coordination - asset tagging devices, cleaning, sorting, and charging devices. Responsible for tracking and ordering accessories as needed. Coordinate receiving and shipping devices to/from end users and track their delivery status. Assist in the phone recovery process to help ensure phones are returned in a timely manner.
• End user support and administration to ensure devices are received and in working condition or processed for buyback. Provide End User support responding to user requests for assistance, such as password resets, service suspensions/disconnects, and troubleshooting equipment. Aid in transferring devices between users and accounts as needed.
• Utilizes various tracking tools to track mobile device ownership for the department. Logs and tracks mobile devices using the Intake Management and Telecom Billing System (TBS). Assist in the development and integration of MDU processes and procedures in the new management and billing system.

Selective Preference(s):

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Basic understanding of mobile devices and wireless technologies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• This position may require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions
• All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify.
• Associate’s degree plus 1 – 3 years of experience in desktop support (or equivalent experience).
• Employee shall obtain and maintain a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 41-1969.
