The Registrar of Contractors (ROC) is a licensing and regulatory executive agency within the State of Arizona. The ROC oversees approximately 60,000 active construction licenses and processes several thousand complaints / cases each year. The ROC Legal Department also administers the Residential Contractors’ Recovery Fund.
The ROC Legal Department is staffed by 4 attorneys, 2 paralegal managers, and 10 legal support staff. Our work is diverse, stimulating, and important to the State of Arizona.
The Assistant General Counsel will provide guidance to agency departments and leadership, draft legal documents, and complete a wide variety of projects on a day-to-day basis.
Must be an active member of the Arizona State Bar.
The selected candidate will receive a criminal history check.
