The Department of Economic Security, Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Analyst Senior (Talent Acquisition Specialist). With direction from the DBME Talent Acquisition Manager, this position will work with all administrations within the Division. This position is recognized as an expert in Human Resources, with specialized expertise in Talent Acquisition.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the departments' business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Offering guidance and collaboration with hiring managers to develop and execute staffing plans and activities to hire qualified individuals.
- Composing announcements and preparing requisitions in Talent Acquisition.
- Consulting and participating on panels or proctor testing/skills assessments when needed.
- Conferring with Division position control specialist to confirm vacant position numbers are in the proper classification and ensure that staffing efforts maintain established headcount.
- Attend job fairs in cooperation with Human Resources Administration (HRA) for recruitment of vacant positions.
- Providing management and employees with interpretation of Arizona Administrative Code (A. A. C.), Department/Division Policies and Procedures, Employment Law and Federal Laws; ensuring consistent application and compliance with such rules and policies.
- Preparing a wide variety of reports, tracks and maintaining data.
- Assist in the development of Talent Acquisition related policy and procedures.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or closely related field and two (2) years of experience as an Intermediate Human Resources Analyst or equivalent experience.
- Relevant HR Certification

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement.
