The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Division of Business and Finance (DBF) is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The candidate will operate with little to no supervision, and is responsible for the generation and accuracy of complex fiscal data posted to the financial accounting system, automated procurement system and the human resources system. The selected candidate will explain and provide counsel to the division on accounting principles as related to SAAM. They will also ensure that documents are properly authorized, coded correctly and pricing is in accordance with the PO/contracts. The selected candidate compiles various revenue and expenditure reports and is responsible for analyzing, researching and resolving vendor/ customer and financial budget problems and concerns. They will also perform reconciliation of invoice aging's, statements and general ledger reports and enter data in to the accounting system.
