Assists with processing requests for placement services made by field staff for the Department of Child Safety (DCS) clients, and assigns providers based on the service referral guides. This position works with DCS field staff as well as with community providers in regards to matching, ending, or extending service authorizations in the Guardian database. In addition, this position communicates directly with community providers in regards to availability for services.
Two years of college or university training with a minimum of 21 semester hours in child development, rehabilitation, social services, counseling, psychology, sociology or other closely related field.
The ability to secure and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card; and the ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
High school diploma or GED
