CULTURAL RESOURCE MANAGER / ARCHAEOLOGIST PHOENIX
The Environmental Management Office (EMO) Cultural Resource Manager (CRM) will perform work of considerable difficulty under the general direction of the Senior Cultural Resources Program Manager (SCRM), but with full authority and independence of action. The CRM is the Cultural Resource Program's (CRP) installation-level professional and subject matter expert for all Central and South regions; responsible for program performance and oversight of cultural operations at Arizona Army National Guard (AZARNG) facilities/lands. This position is uniquely responsible for the survey, identification, evaluation, treatment and monitoring of historic buildings and structures state-wide for all Army National Guard (ARNG) facilities / real property. In cooperation with the SCRM, the CRM oversees application of federal historic preservation laws and standards, to include Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Arizona Antiquity Act, and their integration with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The CRM fosters an environment conducive to teaming and works collaboratively with other CFMO, AZARNG and DEMA departments to facilitate mission readiness, support the development and sustainment of real-property, and enhance cultural stewardship on resource-sensitive projects. This position exercises a high degree of independent decision making, leadership, and in the absence of the SCRM, is responsible for overall success and management of the Cultural Resource Program. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.
ENERGY PROGRAM MANAGER PHOENIX
This position supports the Construction and Facilities Management Officer (CFMO) by overseeing the health and strategic direction of all Arizona Army National Guard (AZ ARNG) utility programs and infrastructure to include such systems as water, waste water, electricity, gas and other energy producing resources. Under minimal direction from the Facility Operations Supervisor (FOS) serves as the Energy Manager for AZ ARNG. Develops a comprehensive Installation Water and Energy Management Plan (IWEP) for AZ ARNG. Directly oversees the Department of Defense-wide Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) for the AZ ARNG. Directly responsible for input into the Army Energy and Water Reporting System (AWERS) and Solid Waste Annual Report (SWAReb). Acts as subject matter expert for the AZ ARNG in all matters related to energy management. Responsible for managing and administration/operation of the Agency energy conservation program. Manages specially funded program budgets related to utilities and energy management. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.

Under general supervision, provides basic janitorial and/or minor maintenance services in various administrative, maintenance, or other DEMA operated government facilities; cleans hard surfaced floors (including stripping, finishing/refinishing) walls, and carpeting; assists in inventorying, ordering and distributing job related supplies; changes bulbs, tubes, ballasts, and A/C filters; may assist in general grounds keeping functions and assists in training new team members. May work with or supervise DOC minimum-security inmates.
