The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is searching for a Bakery Manager to ensure optimized resource allocation and workflow integration. This role oversees the supervision of all daily activities, material movement, and security practices in accordance with Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) policies, procedures, and best practices. Provides strategic leadership to assigned supervisors to meet established KPIs and other production deadlines while ensuring teams are informed of daily goals, areas are properly staffed, and operating within standards of work. Also maintains general oversight of facility maintenance, safety compliance, inventory controls, on-time product deliveries, payroll, budgeting, ERP system utilization, reporting, and performance metrics.

- Directs the comprehensive planning and oversight of the manufacturing operations, focusing on workflow integration and long-term resource organization
- Manages facility scaling and production capacities to adapt to changing organizational needs, providing leadership to assigned supervisors to meet established KPIs and production deadlines
- Audits the site to ensure adherence to established standards of work and long-term operational health
- Provides high-level oversight of the facility’s administrative and physical function, including maintenance, inventory control, payroll, and budgeting
- Manages the ERP system data integrity, oversees the administrative life cycle of the workforce participants, and ensures quality control stations meet established guidelines
- Monitors on-time product delivery and manages the life cycle of equipment and technology to ensure maximum operational uptime
- Provides high-level oversight of security and safety practices in accordance with ADCRR policies, ensuring subordinate supervisors effectively monitor worker activities and machinery operations

Knowledge of:
- Supervisory and leadership techniques for managing diverse teams and subordinate supervisors within correctional or industrial environments
- Production and logistics principles like workflow optimization and supply chain life cycles
- ERP systems for inventory and resource planning

- At three (3) years of experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Vocational courses at a post-secondary level in a related field with supervisory seminars and training

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation, drug test, and possibly a medical/physical examination.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
