Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Services Officer 2 (ASO2) to join our Business & Finance Unit within the Mission Partners Division. This position reports to the Deputy Assistant Director and supports the standardization of Anaplan user maintenance and administration.

Key responsibilities:

• Streamline financial reporting processes by assisting in automating data validation and requirements gathering for key initiatives like agency spending plans and state-level report requests
• Provides support and ad-hoc analysis to ensure data integrity across all state and federal funding sources
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to prioritize software enhancements that drive more informed, data-driven financial decisions for the department

This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

Job Duties:

• Continuously improve accuracy and improve validation strategies
• Support and standardize Anaplan user maintenance, communication, and prioritize software issues as they arise
• Provide high level of support and customer service to program staff, leadership, and all other staff that require financial reporting assistance
• Support continuous financial reporting and tools utilizing Excel and Google Sheets for all ad hoc support items that may arise for Anaplan related to all State and Federal Fund sources
• Assist Business Analysts in managing the various development and support items that come in to be corrected or updated in Anaplan
• Streamline financial requirements gathering process including agency spending plans, agency monthly budget meetings, monthly agency Business Review, and Business and Finance financial metrics
• At the State level include automated reporting for the Executive Budget Request and various ADOA annual reporting needs for annual data uploads
• Assist and collaborate with ongoing priorities for Anaplan support and further development
• Interpret state and federal policies and procedures

Selective Preference(s):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent related discipline. (Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years’ experience).
Two years or more responsible experience in finance, budgeting or related field
