The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Division, is seeking a Business Analyst Senior to provide advanced subject matter and technical expertise across the state’s enterprise resource planning environment, with a primary focus on supporting AZ360 Financial modules. In this role, you will conduct complex data analysis and develop Transact Structured Query Language (TSQL) reports to deliver strategic consultation to core Business Units—including Human Resources, the General Accounting Office (GAO), and the Benefit Services Division (BSD)—as well as various external customer agencies. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to drive AZ360 system analysis, establish security parameters, develop workflows, and configure modules to maximize operating efficiency across the entire AZ360 enterprise. Additionally, you will lead complex system integration projects connected to AZ360 FIN, ensuring seamless data flow through Real-Time API integrations, including the vital connection to the Arizona Payment Portal procurement platform. Finally, you will perform rigorous quality assurance testing and evaluation on AZ360 feature sets, interim containers, system modifications, enhancements, and defect fixes, all while championing customer-driven business process improvements to optimize state operations.

Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field; OR five (5) years of progressive experience in business analysis, system analysis, or financial systems operations.
- Proven experience supporting public sector Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a strong preference for financial, cost accounting, budget control, or procurement module support.
Certifications & Methodologies
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- Lean or Six Sigma certification/training, particularly applied to continuous business process improvement.
- Background and reference check, including state and federal criminal records fingerprint check
