The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a can-do attitude! We know this opportunity is just for you!
This position acts as a HUMAN RESOURCES LIAISON between our Central Office and the assigned Complex, and will oversee the daily operations of the Complex HR Office, ensuring work products comply with applicable laws, rules, policies , and procedures.
In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and timely, including accurate computation of personnel salary actions such as new hires, rehires, promotions, demotions, transfers, etc. at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Winslow.

- Performs a variety of personnel actions in AZ360 to include separations, promotions, transfers, FMLA, etc.
- Completes a variety of position control actions and recruitment requisitions for the assigned complex
- Verifies additional pay stipends, such as high risk, geographical stipends, education stipends, and uniform allowance are processed timely and accurately
- Monitors and tracks institution’s position control
- Completes vacancy reports for placement of correctional personnel and tracking
- Monitors and reports budgeting/staffing profiles
- Ensures legality of hires
- Schedules interviews/oral boards and extends offers
- Research, investigates, and communicates requested information for employees, management, and Central Office HR on a variety of complex personnel subjects, including benefits
- Prepares reports for warden and warden’s management team
- Initiates desk procedures and other related topics as they align with area of responsibility
- Facilitates team meeting and processes improvement work groups
- Oversees researches, and assigns team members to task
- Compiles data for drafting procedures, manuals and other related material
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
