• This position provides leadership and supervision for programs within Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) as outlined in the Elementary and Secondary Act (ESEA) Consolidated State Plan. This encompasses all ESEA Consolidated programs, including grants, programmatic leadership, compliance, training, and all other matters related to the agency's implementation of Arizona's ESSA state plan and other related and aligned state and local initiatives within Academic Achievement. • This position will plan, organize, and lead in coordination with the Deputy Associate Superintendent, the unit's vision and mission of ESEA Consolidated for the state of Arizona as it relates to specific program and fund functions. The position supervises team members facilitating Local Education Agency (LEA) portfolio management, multiple grant fund management, monitoring, program compliance, and overall program leadership. • Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel is required for this position.

This Occupational Safety Consultant position is responsible for management and oversight of all personnel, facility, and equipment safety, to include occupational health inspection programs, for Ordnance Operations (OOD) and Engineers Services (OES) at Camp Navajo. The primary duties will include; accident prevention and investigation, establish techniques and procedures for the elimination/control of unsafe behaviors, environments and/or hazards. Provides assistance and guidance to supervisors, managers and employees, and conducts periodic safety meetings and briefings. Ensure all Federal, State, municipal and private agency regulations, laws, rules, protocols, and procedures related to occupational safety are being followed. Conduct periodic inspections and unscheduled surveys of all facilities and activities to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Prepare administrative reports, create and revise policies and procedures, coordinate random drug screening, monitor and improve Risk Management procedures. Serves to support New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (NSTART) in the performance of Treaty Compliance Officer (TCO).
