The Prevention Statewide Coordinator leads field staff and internal/external stakeholders with planning and organizing of events, meetings and trainings around primary, secondary and tertiary prevention services/programs . In addition, this position works with community members, parents, youth in foster care, and other social service agencies in providing services to families.
**This position requires statewide travel, and participation in events some nights and weekends.**
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or related field and 4 years of social service experience, experience in child welfare or other work with children and families in a social service agency.
The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
This position does require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business. The following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
