At the direction of the ASIIS Program Manager this position will be responsible for ensuring all components of the Arizona State Immunization Information System (ASIIS) are in line with the Bureau of Immunization Services strategy and activities and Immunization Program implementation. This includes leading and participating on meetings and working groups within the Agency, State Consortium and with IIS Contractor to discuss the enhancements to the UI/UX and the DB.
The position shall conduct testing, quality assurance activities and evaluate the usability of the current system applications and system upgrades. Recommend feasible solutions to improve the user interface experience and work with the ASIIS Technical Team and the IIS Contractor to incorporate the solutions into the system.
The position shall have independence in the performance of duties, shall perform them without technical supervision and should display high technical proficiency in computer systems.
Conduct testing and evaluate the usability of the current system applications, system upgrades and new system functionalities. Recommend feasible solutions to improve the user interface experience and work with the ASIIS Technical Team and the IIS Contractor to incorporate the solutions into the system.
Ensuring all components of the IIS are in line with the Bureau of Immunization Services strategy and Immunization Program implementation. This includes leading and participating on meetings and working groups within the Agency, State Consortium and with IIS Contractor to discuss the enhancements to the UI/UX and the DB.
In collaboration with training staff, design training and training materials for clinics, vendors and health systems regarding ASIIS functionalities to assure proper implementation of program objectives.

Knowledge of:
-Performance Management (PM), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Lean methodologies.
-Masters level degree or equivalent experience in informatics, epidemiology, or public health, or minimum 5 years direct work experience in epidemiology or informatics.
-Knowledge of relevant software and computer query and reporting tools, such as SQL.
-Knowledge of User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) concepts.

Three years of management analysis experience. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment will substitute for one or two years of management analysis experience. SQL and IIS experience highly desired.
