| This position serves as the Human Services Coordinator in the Operations Sections which provides "Whole Community" leadership during a disaster under the general guidance of the Recovery Branch Manager. Provides focus, direction, and support for various recovery objectives and directs the activities of the VAL/PSL and DEMA/EM Human Services reservist cadre. The human services coordinator is responsible for performing duties during the response and recovery phase, which includes providing leadership to mass care activities and assisting communities, individuals, families, and businesses in recovering from disaster damages. This includes the Individual Assistance program and the mass care/emergency assistance program, which supports the coordination of Recovery Support Functions (RSF). Personally, prepares for anytime (24/7) response and no-notice recalls to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and/or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disaster or exercise activations. Serves as the Human Services Coordinator in the State Emergency Operations Center. |

Building Maintenance Specialist

| The Building Maintenance Specialist (BMS) performs maintenance tasks that require the application of highly skilled abilities in maintaining and repairing buildings and related utility service systems to include, building and grounds maintenance, plumbing, commercial electrical, carpentry, and industrial HVAC. Incumbent shall perform work with limited supervision from the 162nd Physical Plant Supervisor (PPS I). The incumbent shall participate independently or as a team while maintaining facilities under the care of the Arizona Air National Guard (AZ ANG) 162nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Incumbent assures all work is in compliance with state and federal codes; performs all assigned tasks within the established guidelines and instructions, adheres to established safety rules/procedures, ensures work is compliant with all applicable safety codes. Incumbent will be required to take immediate action in emergency situations and is responsible for timely reporting on corrective action. |
