| The Office Chief is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the statewide dental public health prevention and oral health workforce training initiatives. This includes oversight of the state mandated Arizona Dental Sealant Program & the Arizona Fluoride Mouth rinse Program, and general oral health promotion initiatives. This position oversees the Office of Oral health and serves as a lead within Arizona and advises dental and primary care professionals and local public health agencies regarding oral health issues. This position attends and provides leadership, development and implementation of the Oral Health State Plan. The Office Chief is responsible for the oversight of the maternal and child oral health prevention programming, community development activities, and grant writing. This position works with the Bureau of Women and Children's Health to meet national objectives set forth by the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant related to improving the oral health needs of children, especially high risk populations. |

Auditors also assist the Audit Supervisors in developing the audits' scopes, objectives and procedures and align them to established audit standards. Responsibilities also include writing audit finding drafts. Additionally, the position works with the assigned Audit Supervisor to perform administrative tasks as needed on each audit, such as scheduling meetings with the auditee and ensuring that the audit program is properly and fully completed. The position is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the audit test work and audit report drafts and is expected to perform the work necessary to meet the Audit Unit's established quality control process.
• In-state travel is required for this position.
