| The QA Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting accurate data collection, incident reporting, and continuous quality and performance improvement as an integral member of the Hospital's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) team. This position is the primary individual responsible for processing and submitting Public Records Requests, ensuring all redactions comply with HIPAA, regulatory guidelines, and State requirements. The QA Coordinator supports risk management functions through incident report coding, video reviews, and the preparation of Hospital committee agendas and minutes. The role also assists in developing required documentation for the Hospital's Independent Oversight Committee (IOC) and collaborates closely with the Patient Rights Advocate (PRA) to address patient concerns and support Adult Protective Services (APS) investigations when necessary. Additionally, this position supports regulatory readiness by compiling and preparing incident-related documentation for surveys conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and The Joint Commission (TJC). |
