| Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Long Term Care Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual recertification inspections of health care institutions regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rulemaking, and conducts inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders. |

Sensory Screening Program Manager

| This position reports to the Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs Program Manager and is responsible for program management of Children’s Health program activities. The candidate will manage a variety of contracts including contracts with local programs, vendors, community-based programs, statewide and federal programs. This position will assist with coordination, implementation, and monitoring all aspects of the ADHS Sensory Program, including Arizona’s legislatively mandated hearing and vision screening programs. This position will provide education and training to, and foster partnerships with, child serving agencies and schools, to support the implementation of sensory screening policies. This position will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of vision and hearing screening and maintaining program components including curriculum development, equipment inventory, training and education, and policy and procedures. |
