Conducts investigations of the operation of a state-designated trauma center facilities or provider upon receiving a complaint. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rule-making, and conducts inspections. Performs, assists, or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a trauma center designation certification. |
