| The Emergency Support Function (ESF) and Recovery Support Function (RSF) Coordinator manages critical response partnerships throughout the state, Southwestern Region (FEMA Region IX) in support of the Operations Section of the DEMA-EM. Confers with the Operations Assistant Director, Response Branch Manager and Logistics Branch Manager regarding mission priorities and informs Response Branch Manager of program accomplishments.
Responsible for administration and management of the DEMA Emergency Management DEMA-EM Duty Officer Program and serves as Duty Officer.
The ESF/RSF Coordinator also provides technical assistance on response preparedness activities to our county and tribal partners when called upon.
Supervises 9 Response Reservists and all management activities associated.
Personally prepares for anytime (24/7) response and no-notice recall to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and / or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disaster or exercise activations. Trains for specific SEOC positions and performs duties as assigned through internal agency policy. |
