Job Summary:
Student employees in Auxiliary Services will assist and be a responsible and vital employee to transport mail, supplies, and packages to and from Downtown, West, East, Mason, and Livingston campuses. Drive a variety of vans, box trucks and other college vehicles. They will assist with sorting items from various delivery companies. Student staff will respectfully assist with processing confidential mailings with mail machinery. The Mail and Receiving Services 1 is an essential and critical part of the Auxiliary Services Operational Team.

Requirements for LCC Student Employment:
The primary purpose of student employment is to provide current LCC students with the opportunity to acquire job skills and experiences during semesters in which they are attending LCC classes as follows: • Enrolled and actively attending the following minimum LCC credit hours by semester: - Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 6.0 credits (taken over 16-week period minimum) - Summer Semester = 3.0 credits (taken over 8-week period minimum) • 2.00 GPA minimum (unless it is the student's first semester of enrollment at LCC or approval to waive requirement is granted from the Student Employment Coordinator)
Note: International students (i.e. F-1 visa holders w/ valid I-20 issued by LCC) must meet the following minimum enrollment requirements each semester, in order to maintain employment eligibility per United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USICS): - Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 12.0 credits (taken over 16-week period minimum) - Summer Semester = 3.0 credits (taken over 8-week period minimum)
