This position is provisional and funded by the Perkins grant. Its renewal is dependent on continued Perkins grant funding.
This position coordinates industry events (as in employer visits, tours, job fairs, and classroom presentations) for the Technical Careers Division, while maintaining communication with industry partners to promote and develop opportunities for students and overall partnerships with LCC. Specifically, these employment opportunities and partnerships allow students to apply knowledge and skills gained through education while serving industry needs. This position provides support to student initiatives such as college fairs, campus tours (individual and group), program showcases, and resume workshops. The incumbent will gather data and produce reports for divisional initiatives. Additional responsibilities include assisting divisional leadership with continuous quality improvement activities including faculty, employers and students. They will assist with divisional advisory board meetings and will coordinate Technical Careers related association/council meetings
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree with two (2) or more years of related experience.
Knowledge and/or experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
Demonstrated related experience with work-based learning or training programs, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in Education, Trades Technology, Public Service Careers, Aviation, Computer Information Technology or related area.
Prior experience working with industry partners.
Prior experience leading teams or projects.
Prior experience organizing events and projects.
Prior experience in a higher education environment.
