Join our Health & Human Services (HHS) Division Office team! HHS Student Employees play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who visits or contacts our office. You’ll help staff our reception area—greeting guests, answering phones, responding to emails, and ensuring a positive, professional environment for students, faculty, staff, and the public. Reception duties also include providing general information about HHS programs and LCC services, as well as making appropriate referrals to campus departments/programs and resources when needed.
In this position, you’ll also help keep our shared spaces running smoothly by performing office upkeep, such as light cleaning, loading the dishwasher, sanitizing shared surfaces, stocking supplies, and organizing common areas. Student Employees contribute to the day-to-day operations of the HHS Division through general clerical tasks like copying, filing, processing mail, organizing office materials, submitting work requests, preparing signs and flyers, running errands, making copies, and maintaining department records and documents. You will also assist our Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator with special events, building tours, and swag inventory. This role is a great opportunity to build customer service, organizational, and office skills while becoming part of a supportive campus team!
*Employees in the HHS Division must maintain confidentiality and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of students and staff.*
This position is for approximately 20 hours a week in the HHS Divisional Office in the Health & Human Services building on LCC’s main campus.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
