Job Summary:
The Instructional Design and Technology Specialist provides direction and coordination for the Talent Management System (TMS). This role is responsible for the administration, management, design, development, and implementation of high-quality training courses within the TMS using instructional design methods and models, ensuring alignment with assessments and the application of emergent instructional design principles and models. Key responsibilities include: • Recommend system features, solutions, and emergent technologies to meet training requirements for business areas and enhance the learner experience and meet the training needs. • Auditing and maintaining TMS content, courses, and multimedia to ensure accuracy, relevance, accessibility standard, and engagement of inclusive practices. • Researching, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies to enhance learning engagement, delivery, and effectiveness within the TMS. • Assists with third-party vendor contracts related to all Human Resources training and development initiatives. • Configuring LCC Performance Reviews, Peer Assessments, and overseeing reporting and data extraction within the TMS. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a consistent, effective, and innovative learning experience for all users of the Talent Management System at LCC.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience with learning management system software and video editing/integration software and processes.
Significant experience in instructional design, eLearning, training, and/or technical writing.
Understanding of accessibility guidelines for web content.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating content conforming to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA.
Experience working in a higher education or K-12 education environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media Production or related field.
Working knowledge of HTML.
