Job Summary/Basic Function
Perform daily and special event operation of street sweeper to remove litter and debris in order to keep campus safe and clean; routinely repair and service street sweeper to include periodic changing of brooms; provide litter control, grounds upkeep, leaf and snow removal as needed; run edger, plant seeds, flowers, shrubs and trees; cultivate, prune and care for flowers, shrubs, trees and grass. Perform other related tasks as assigned. Extended work hours required nights and/or weekends during special events.
Required Education
High school diploma or high school equivalency
Required Related Experience
One year experience in general grounds maintenance or related work required.
