Job Summary/Basic Function

Responsible for the safe operation of the Recreation Center during the hours assigned. Execute the supportive activities and services in the comprehensive recreation program for students, faculty, staff, alumni, families, and guests of MTSU to include tournaments and other special events. Train and supervise student staff. Oversee and maintain Fusion and Sling software systems (rec center and scheduling software), and train and assist staff with technical problems and issues. Nights, weekends, and early morning work hours may be required. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supporting the administration and supervision of a comprehensive Campus Recreation Center.

Required Education

Bachelors degree required.

Required Related Experience

Two years experience in a recreational center or related facility .

Required License/Registration/Certification

Tennessee driver’s license. Possess or obtain CPR, First Aid, AED instructor certification within six months of employment.

Desirable License/Registration/Certification

Certifications: AFO or CPO (pool certifications) preferred
