Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsible for delivering mail and parcels to university departments using a department vehicle (van/truck). Duties include staging items for delivery, operating a mobile device to scan barcodes and capture recipient signatures for accountability, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Must practice safe driving habits and adhere to campus speed limits. Requires experience in delivery services, knowledge of warehouse procedures, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word is needed for job-related documentation.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Six (6) months experience in shipping/receiving, delivery services, or material control.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Valid driver's license.
Desirable Related Experience
One (1) year directly related experience in shipping/receiving and material control.
