| The Operational Analyst clerical position is responsible for scanning and indexing documents to individual applicant records using our 3 software/CRM systems of Slate, Axiom, and Banner. This includes processing all aspects of documents from preparing them to scan, downloading them from multiple secure sources, and uploading and indexing them to the correct person. Accuracy is critical in this role. Responsibilities also include resolving matching errors when moving applicant data among these systems. A key component will be reviewing records for possible duplicates and consolidating them into one record.
Those who are detail-oriented with talents in solving mysteries and identifying matching records and untangling different records will thrive in this high-volume clerical position. This position will also monitor the departmental email account providing answers for applicants, parents, and other MTSU staff. The Undergraduate Admissions Office has 14 members on the processing team. |

Transcript Analyst

| The Transcript Analyst position is responsible for using documented processes and procedures to complete a course-by-course evaluation of all institutional and non-traditional credits for all undergraduate applicants/students. Analyst is responsible for accurately converting various credit hour systems to the semester hours system, converting transfer grades and repeats to the MTSU grading standards, and ensuring credit is connected with correct institutions. Review course catalog descriptions as new courses are transferred and update and maintain the transfer equivalencies database used by students and staff as new equivalencies are approved. Systems such as Banner SIS, Slate CRM, BDM Document Management System, Transfer Evaluation System (TES) as well as Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook will be used. Must have excellent communications skills to explain MTSU transfer standards and course equivalences with internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to prioritize and accurately complete evaluations in a timely manner in a high volume environment. |
