Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of History at Middle Tennessee State University seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position (#126210) in Digital History at the rank of assistant/associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2024.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and specialized courses in Digital History. In addition, the successful candidate will teach in and contribute to the Public History Program (MA and PhD) and work with campus partners. An active research agenda demonstrating the ability to apply digital tools and methodologies to humanities research is expected.
Required Education
A terminal degree in history or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
