The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting conducts college-level, transferrable courses in the discipline area of Accounting while developing and designing curriculum plans that foster learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement. This Adjunct Instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering lectures on the Main Campus in Lake Charles, online, and/or in hybrid situations, creating a learning environment, and assessing student learning. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting maintains accurate grade and attendance records, and individual student progress data, and ensures this is a part of the student’s permanent record; adheres to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records; posts at the office and on the syllabus, on-campus and/or virtual hours to facilitate interaction with students, other faculty, staff administrators, and the public.
