The division dean serves as the direct supervisor to the department chairs, workforce development specialist(s), and support staff within the division. The dean works directly for the Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Workforce Development in the administration of the function and duties listed below.

Nursing faculty are responsible for teaching courses as assigned, student advising, college service, professional development and promotion of collegial atmosphere. Faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Faculty report directly to program managers and department chairs within their respective departments and divisions. This position will monitor students in the clinical areas, teach theory in classroom, and demonstrate clinical skills in the simulation laboratory. Additional responsibilities include assessing courses, serving on college committees, participating in extracurricular activities, community service, and professional development. Faculty may be required to teach evenings and weekends as well as on-line, dual enrollment, and service learning courses.

The Director of Financial Aid leads, manages, and ensures the integrity of all financial aid operations, including federal and state programs. This role is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. Title IV, state grants), for strategic alignment with enrollment and student success goals, and for optimizing student access to aid through efficient, student centered service. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and LDCC policies and procedures.
Maintenance Supervisor	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
The Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Executive Director Facilities Planning and Management. The supervisor is responsible for the staff of Facilities Maintenance who perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, and other machine and electrical servicing for SOWELA. The supervisor is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing specialized facilities management services, while ensuring the campus buildings, grounds, systems, equipment, and supplies are maintained. The scope of work includes completing preventative maintenance schedules as well as restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Creating and delivering reports, presentations, trainings, and other communication are essential functions.
Instructor – Industrial Mechanics for Millwrights and Machinists - 10 Month	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
The Industrial Mechanics for Millwrights and Machinists Instructor is responsible for instructing students to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, including work commonly performed by Millwrights and Machinists. This includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. Instruct students on how to fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, install and align equipment, and maintain industrial machines by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
