Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Student Success Coordinator is responsible for providing hands-on support to students navigating technology in their academic journey. Duties include facilitating basic computer orientation to ensure students can confidently use essential tools, managing the student laptop loan program to promote equitable access, and serving as a key point of contact for tech-related student inquiries. Additionally, the Coordinator collaborates with other departmental staff to implement initiatives that enhance the overall student experience and contribute to the success of instructional technology and professional development efforts.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 5 years of experience working in higher education student success and/or technology

Required Experience: 

Familiarity with basic computer applications and ability to guide users
Experience managing technology loan programs or similar resources.
Collaboration across departments to support student success
Strong communication skills with diverse student populations
Experience in a postsecondary educational setting

Required Licenses or Certifications: N/A

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, or some related field

Preferred Experience: Direct technology support or training experience
Oversight of technology loan programs
Work in instructional technology, student affairs, or academic support
Engagement with diverse college populations
Coordination of cross-departmental initiatives
Use of data tracking platforms for student success

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of SIS and LMS systems in higher education
Skill in designing and facilitating training
Ability to make data-informed decisions
Understanding of process improvement
