Duties and Responsibilities: 

Institutional Support (35%)
• Manage the class schedule for all divisions/programs/departments assigned to this role each semester ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with SoLAcc policies, procedures, and department and student need.
• Ensure that course information, including start and end dates, delivery methods, and faculty assignments, are correctly reflected in the Banner system.
• Manage the use and functionality of Banner for all student registration-related functions, comprising of class section creation, registration, grading, attendance, and transcript management.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the student registration process, including the initial registration period, schedule adjustment, late registration, and resignations.
• Develop and manage semester and part of term-specific deadlines, registration eligibility dates, attendance reporting, add/drop intervals, midterm, and withdrawal dates in the student information system.
• Confirm that all registration policies are implemented consistently across all campuses, including prerequisite checks, non-attendance drops, enrollment limits, repeat delete, and registration holds.
• Assists with validation of Industry Based Credentials, Completers and other required data.
• Assist when needed with reporting processes including but not limited to DOE, LDOE, BOR, and SACS.
• Provide support for course scheduling in Canusia including but not limited to course building, registration, enrollment and record keeping.

Team Relations (30%)
• Liaisons with programs directors, deans, and faculty to ensure registration and enrollment as well as all reporting is completed accurately and timely.
• Coordinates with programs directors, deans, and faculty to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Work with directors, deans, and faculty to resolve any issues.
• Work with the admissions office to ensure accurate student records, attributes, and student status.
• Coordinate with student accounts on attributes, billing, course fees, and other financial requirements.

Work Habits (30%)
• Ensure that all registration, grading, and student record procedures are in compliance with institutional policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Consult with the Registrar and/or Associate Registrar regarding enrollment, registration, and graduation issues.
• Research and resolve any discrepancies in reporting or student data.
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of student record information in accordance with FERPA regulations.
• Assists with the audit procedure to ensure all withdrawals and registrations have been processed correctly.
• Maintain workflows processes for registration and curriculum support.
• Assists with developing, updating, and documenting policies and procedures for records administration.
• Corresponds with program managers and instructors to communicate changes in policies and procedures.
• Conducts training for instructors and department representatives as needed.
• Conducts initial training of college and departmental representatives regarding catalog issues, scheduling, and registration.
• Updates training materials and conducts additional training sessions as necessary by revisions to the database.
• Effectively use Microsoft products (Teams, Word, Excel, Forms), Banner, Cognos, LoLa, Application Navigator, and Canusia to complete job duties.
• Effectively communicate via email and teams with all internal and external partners.

Required Education: 

Associate degree from an accredited college or university

 

Required Experience: 

Two (2) years working in Banner.

 

Preferred Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
