Duties and Responsibilities: • Provides comprehensive support to Accessibility Services across the College by conducting student interviews, reviewing documentation, implementing appropriate accommodations, and maintaining accurate student records.
• Supervises, trains, coaches, and provides performance feedback for the Student Outreach and Support Specialist and the Tutors.
• Plans, organizes, and executes programming for students, intramurals, and activities sponsored by Student Services to enhance the educational and social experience of students.
• Promote and coordinate intramural sports year-round to encourage wellness and student participation.
• Coordinate student events within budget, while generating reports and maintaining organized calendar schedules.
• Maintain an up-to-date student activity calendar and social media presence to promote workshops, events, and programs effectively.
• Ensure student clubs and organizations are in compliance with college policies, maintain the Student Organization Handbook, and serve as Assistant Student Government Association (SGA) Advisor by supporting meetings and reporting concerns to the Director of Student Services.
• Manage the campus food pantry by monitoring inventory, preparing food bag requests, maintaining the pantry area, and overseeing grocery shopping.
• Foster partnerships with local counseling services to provide referrals and on-campus wellness workshops. Maintain strong community connections and act as a liaison when appropriate for entities that can assist students with wraparound services.
• Work with students to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure a supportive campus environment.
• Assist with the Student Conduct, Title IX, and Power-Based Violence process to include conducting investigations, document management, and assisting with planning hearings.
• Actively participate on campus committees related to student mental health and well-being.
• Assist with planning and participating in new student orientation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to student, faculty, and staff inquiries.
• Initiates personnel actions such as hiring, coaching, developing, evaluating, and disciplining. Prepares work schedules; assigns or delegates responsibilities. Monitors payroll and time sheets. Sets deadlines to ensure completion of the division or department functions.
• Responsible for planning, controlling, communicating, and implementing procedures and processes for the overall efficient operations of the department or division.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience: Two years of experience in higher education or a related field that supports students.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment and networked personal computers.
• Proficiency in or ability to become proficient in a variety of software, including but not limited to Office 365 apps.
• Skilled at communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and written, at all levels.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations needed to complete job tasks.
• Skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing job duties to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining interpersonal professional working relationships at all levels – students, peers, and Executives.
• Leadership and management skills sufficient to lead a staff, potentially operating on a rotating schedule in multiple locations.
