Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 40%
    Serve as the first point of contact for students with questions about admissions, advising, registration, financial aid, and campus
    services.
  • 30%
    Assist students in navigating administrative processes of the College
  • 20%
    Maintain student records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and privacy regulations.
  • 5%
    Attend and assist in planning campus events organized by the Registrar’s Office
  • 5%
    Other duties as assigned

Required Education: Associate degree or minimum of one year of experience in higher education

Required Experience: One year of experience in higher education.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail are necessary in order to complete detailed work accurately
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality to protect student records
  • Ability to take responsibility, set goals, prioritize and organize tasks and workload in order to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively cooperate with co-workers
  • Ability to use PC and keyboard to perform data entry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically and independently for organizing and completing work
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required, including courtesy and tact in order to deal effectively with callers, students and visitors to provide information clearly effectively
  • Ability to understand instructions in order to complete assignments correctly and thoroughly

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with integrated student information systems, preferably Banner
