The Head Softball Coach will be responsible for the direction and oversight of the softball program and all related functions. These functions include, but are not limited to: coaching, recruiting, practice, game day preparation & management, organization of team travel, alumni communication, fundraising, supervision of staff, managing budget, establishing a strong working relationship with the College and surrounding community, follow NJCAA, College, & Athletic department rules and regulations, developing athletes to achieve success on the court and in the classroom, organize and manage camps and clinics. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Must have effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills and foster positive student-athlete, campus, community, alumni, and athletic department relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position supervises one or more assistant coaches as well as all student athletes participating in the softball program
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred
Required Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in playing/coaching/teaching softball at the collegiate or professional level
