Duties and Responsibilities: 

25 % Coach Training and Development Support:

• Collaborates with Director on developing and conducting coach onboarding trainings and provides implementation support for ongoing professional development initiatives
• Assists Director in coordinating writing coach training programs by providing logistical support for needs assessments and efficacy evaluations
• Supports mentor coach assignments and assists in oversight of mentoring relationships during 90-day assessment periods under Director's guidance
• Assists Director and coaches in pursuing and maintaining CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) /ITTPC (International Tutor Training Program Certification) certification
• Provides supplemental one-on-one training support and troubleshooting under Director's direct supervision

25% Program Development and Implementation:

• Supports Director in implementing comprehensive program development initiatives by executing operational aspects of new CWRC services
• Assists with semester-by-semester program expansion plans under Director's vision and guidance
• Coordinates programming and services implementation between campus locations, including serving as West Bank site lead
• Supports Embedded program implementation and growth and reports on student success outcomes to Director

20% Outreach and Marketing:

• Implements student and faculty outreach initiatives developed through Director's strategic marketing and promotion planning
• Assists Director in execution of annual marketing plans to increase college-wide student CWRC attendance
• Coordinates classroom visits and faculty engagement activities as directed by the Director
• Coordinates Marketing and Promotion team and helps oversee promotional materials and digital presence
• Supports Director in updating student-facing aspects of CWRC homepage and communication channels

20% Administrative and Operational Support:

• Provides administrative support for external funding strategies, assists with grant application preparation, and handles administrative aspects of funding acquisition under Director's supervision
• Assists Director with coach performance assessment data collection and training program development support
• Maintains regular communication with Director and Data and Programs Coordinator regarding operational matters
• Provides direct coaching services during high-traffic periods at multiple campus locations

10% Special Projects & Initiatives:

• Assist in JobScan program and other initiatives implementation and promotion
• Summer Bridge Program operational support and 2026 pilot implementation assistance
• Embedded program expansion implementation support and evaluation assistance
• Administrative support for external funding acquisition initiatives
• Faculty relations support through targeted outreach implementation
• Digital marketing strategy implementation support

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of work related experience

Required Experience: 

• At least three years of experience coaching writing in a diverse academic environment
• Proficient in MS Office (esp. Excel), Google Suite, with experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Experience in program coordination, training support, or educational outreach implementation
• Knowledge of contemporary developments and best practices in Writing Center Studies and student support services in higher education
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, and external partners under supervisory guidance

Preferred Education: Graduate work in English, Marketing, or Organization Development

Preferred Experience: 

A background in training staff.
Experience in marketing and promotions.
Proficient in use of scheduling and data -gathering software and creating reports.
