Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work Habits: 40%
• Track interested future testers via CNA certification website or respond to calls.
• Review all CNA exam applications
• Request documents from qualified candidates
• Create folders for each processed candidate
• Training or providing access to appropriate training of faculty and staff.
• Complete purchase orders for supplies
• Restock used supplies
• Wash, dry, fold and restock linen cart.
• Approve candidates to test

Behavioral Standards: 10%
• Adhere to all established policies, processes and procedures.
• Treat all internal and external constituents with respect.
• All confidential information is held with integrity with no disclosure to unauthorized persons.

Institutional Support: 25%
• Communicate with admissions department, registrar's office and student accounts regarding student status.
• Communicate with Nursing lab coordinators for each campus to set up test times and dates.
• Maintain transparent communication and appropriate communication of organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email correspondence and regular interpersonal communication.
• Notify via email the registrar's office when grades have been uploaded.
• Complete required reports ( Cognos 11 Production forms, CNA Master cohort spreadsheet, CNA
• Master "Jotform" spreadsheet and 3rd party billing form)
• Track CNA registry for listed certifications
• Verify CRNs assigned to dates and send CRNs to LCTCS.

Team Relations: 25%
• Communicate with admissions department, registrar's office and student accounts regarding student status.
• Communicate with Nursing lab coordinators for each campus to set up test times and dates.
• Maintain transparent communication and appropriate communication of organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email correspondence and regular interpersonal communication.
• Notify via email the registrar's office when grades have been uploaded.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Associate degree with a minimum of one year experience in healthcare or other related setting such as education or clinical setting.

• Associate degree may be substituted for three years of work experience where the candidate has demonstrated strong computer skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, along with a dependable work ethic.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with students, testing candidates, faculty, staff, and community members.
• Ability to organize work effectively, to prioritize objectives, and to exercise independent judgement.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to multitask.
